Mucha (1860-1939), a Czech artist who gained fame in Paris, is celebrated for his iconic Art Nouveau posters, including those for Sarah Bernhardt. A versatile creator, he also worked as a painter, illustrator, set designer, and jewelry maker, crafting a unique and seductive style known as "The Mucha Style."
The exhibition explores Mucha’s artistic journey and his belief in the power of beauty to inspire peace and progress. Alongside him, Giovanni Boldini (1842-1931), a Ferrara-born master of portraiture, captured the elegance of high society with his dynamic and refined brushstrokes.
A curated selection from the Giovanni Boldini Museum, including masterpieces like The Lady in Pink and Fireworks, will be on display, offering a glimpse into the grace and movement that define his work.
