UISP

The UISP (Italian Union of Sport for All) is the sport for all association which aims to extend the right to sport to all citizens. We are the first national body and the largest in our province with over 20,000 members and 400 affiliated companies.
For us, sport for all is a good that affects health , quality of life, education and sociality . As such it is worthy of public recognition and protection.
 Sport for all is a right, an immediate reference to a new quality of life to be affirmed day by day both in traditional facilities and in the natural environment.
Sport for all interprets a new right of citizenship, it belongs to the " politics of life " and, despite experimenting with numerous competitive activities, it legitimizes itself on the basis of values ​​that are not attributable to the primacy of the ethics of the result, specific to sport of absolute performance.
Sportpertutti , a single, new word that exists in reality and not yet in the dictionary.
We chose this identity because we decided to put the subject, the citizen, women and men of all ages at the centre, each with their own rights, their own motivations, their own differences to be recognized and valorised: the different ages, the abilities, disabilities, sexual differences, different motivations for practicing sports. The only difference we fight is that which arises from social inequality, from the lack of equal opportunities.
