They are called "Delizie Estensi", World Heritage in 1999, many of them crumbling and in ruins by now, only a few are proof of the splendour that once characterized them.

Among the best preserved there are: Palazzo Schifanoia, city "delizia" par excellence, the delizia di Belriguardo in Voghiera, the delizia del Benvignante near Argenta, the delizia di Copparo, the delizia del Verginese in Portomaggiore and the Mesola's castle.
